IGN asks at least one month and a half to prepare for such travel. After some thoughts and given the discussion within the CPP members, I suggest to reduce the planned CPP Workshop time to ~half-day, during the week-end preceding the AGU, say on Sunday, 12 December. This will reduce stay cost/travel too. Another alternative would be to insert a splinter meeting during the AGU week, but this is may be dificult to organize. I personally think that a half-day to discuss the CPP issues and concerns is more than enough, since I don't think that useful weekly analysis could be done under the current circumstances. Of course we always can try to combine (some of) the data available at the CPP server, inroducing the local ties every week, but this is something I would not like to support, given my reservations about the timeliness of this approach. I hope to get your opinion on this suggestion before the end of next week, at the latest.
