Dear Colleagues, Just a couple of days ago the last IVS Analysis Center provided its input series to our combination. The process of combination is now running and we expect to deliver the combined IVS input to ITRF2004 in the next two weeks. It is not quite clear to us whether the style and format for reporting discontinuities as mentioned by Zuheir will be accepted by all the other techniques and combination centers once and for all or if we have to expect something different again by the IERS Analysis Coordinator at a later stage. > On the other hand, as the ITRF2004 will be based on time > series, discontinuities should be handled as correctly as > possible. It is recommended to have an official list per > technique, provided in the dedicated SINEX bloc format. > As an example, you may consult the IGS list provided by > Remi Ferland, available at: > > ftp macs.geod.nrcan.gc.ca > cd pub/requests/sinex/discontinuities > > Best regards > Zuheir Best regards, Axel -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Axel Nothnagel nothnagel@uni-bonn.de Geodetic Institute of the University of Bonn Nussallee 17 Tel.: +49-228-733574 53115 Bonn Fax.: +49-228-732988 Germany
