Dear Axel, I personally don't think that the ECC file has something to do with discontinuities. ECCDAT.ecc contains ecc values for Mobile Occupations maily, since all fixed antennas have zero values (with some exception, see also below). The only useful information you have regarding discontinuities are the epochs contained in the file esm2005a.dat, where for example Earthquake epochs are given, e.g. Denaly EQ in Fairbanks, etc. However I still do not know what is the nature of the "events" in Medicina and EFLSBERG. To fill in the discontinuity SINEX block, we do not need to know the offsets, since these are estimated in the combination and stacking of the time series. On the other hand, I noticed that in the ECC file, you have some none zero values for fixed antennas, after rail repairs. Normally this kind of "displacement" changes the location of the antenna physical point in space and therefore a new DOMES number should have been assigned. I already mentioned this many times to IVS colleagues, but I have never been informed about these cases.
