Dear colleagues, as mentioned a few weeks ago we had to reprocess about 400 VLBI-sessions (mainly 1-baseline sessions). We finished this task and submitted 250 of these sessions to the IVS Data Center. For the remaining ~150 sessions we were not able to perform a combination (mainly due to the fact that there were only two contributions to the particular session with one of them causing problems...). For these sessions we suggest to use only GSFC's solution/SINEX file (available at e.g. ftp://ftp.leipzig.ifag.de/vlbi/ivsproducts/daily_sinex/gsfd04it). Many regards, Markus Vennebusch, Sarah Böckmann and Axel Nothnagel Our mail from February, 27, 2006: Dear colleagues, we would like to inform you that we reprocessed all available VLBI data from 1979 till the end of 2005. For each session there are now (up to) five analysis centers contributing their solutions to the VLBI-intra-technique combination (now, also all available USNO-solutions have been included). The ~3800 new files (*d04it.snx) are just being uploaded to the IVS data center and will then be downloaded to the IERS data center. Compared to the former combinations we improved many small issues and implemented a few checks (e.g. for eccentricities, 1-baseline-sessions, etc.). Due to these checks there are now ~400 sessions which we have to check manually. These sessions will be submitted within the next days. For further details please read the COMMENT-section in the combined SINEX-files. Please let us know if there are any problems with our files!
