	Title:  Creation of the electronic IERS Gazette

The Central Bureau of IERS starts the distribution of an IERS electronic
"gazette" (a word with similar meaning in french and in english). The
IERS gazette is open to IERS bodies, Corresponding members and other
interested individuals, for dissemination of information concerning
Terrestrial and Celestial reference frames, Earth orientation, related 
models and Conventions, etc.
 
It is distributed to the general e-mail IERS distribution list (about 500 
addresses). 
 
To use this information channel, e-mail to iers@obspm.fr the file with the
text you want to disseminate, with  'subject' = 'Input for IERS gazette'.
 
The texts should be concise and informative. Start with the two lines
"Title:  " and "Author:  " as above. Send lines no longer than 75 characters. 
I will act as Editor of the publication.
 
We hope that this new stream will give information not available otherwise,
but still not flood your e-mail folders.
