        Title:  Polling IERS users

   As a result of the 1996 IERS Workshop held in Paris in October 1996, new
developments of IERS services are planned to take place progressively. However,
the Workshop also recommended that the current activities be continued and
enhanced. The Central Bureau was requested to poll its distribution list to
identify the various types of users  and their specific needs.

   A questionnaire was sent to the subscribers of IERS publications. Its aim 
is to update the IERS's knowledge of its users interests and needs, current 
and future.
