Dear colleagues,

Summer on its way, we'd like to remind you not to forget - over science,
field work & vacations - to register for the IERS workshop.

For information on the 1998 IERS Workshop, see the IERS Gazette No 29. 
Likewise, details can be taken from the GFZ World Wide Web Site at 

	http://www.gfz-potsdam.de/iers/

Hotels in Potsdam are heavily booked even in autumn since the city 
with its world-famous sights is a very touristic place. 
Therefore, participants are advised to book their accommodation well in
advance.

Also, participants are advised to take advantage of the possibilities of
pre-registration. The final deadline for pre-registration will be 31
August 1998.
