Within the IERS Global Geophysical Fluids Center the Special Bureau for the Oceans (SBO) is an effort of GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences to provide data relating to non-tidal changes in oceanic processes relevant to the study of the Earth's variable rotation.
