IERS Rapid Service/Prediction Centre

The IERS Rapid Service/Prediction Centre is responsible for providing Earth Orientation Parameters (EOPs) on a rapid turnaround basis, primarily for real-time users and others requiring high-quality EOP data sooner than the final series published by the IERS Earth Orientation Center.

  • Bulletin A: Rapid determinations of EOPs in a human readable format.
• Standard EOP data files, updated weekly (Thursday)
  • finals.all (IAU1980): Polar motion, UT1-UTC, and length of day values since 02 January 1973, along with dψ, dε, using the IAU1980 Nutation/Precession Theory (including 1 year of predictions).
  • finals.all (IAU2000): Polar motion, UT1-UTC, and length of day values since 02 January 1973, along with dX, dY, using the IAU2000A Nutation/Precession Theory (including 1 year of predictions).
  • finals.data (IAU1980): Polar motion, UT1-UTC, and length of day values since 01 January 1992, along with dψ, dε, using the IAU1980 Nutation/Precession Theory (including 1 year of predictions).
  • finals.data (IAU2000): Polar motion, UT1-UTC, and length of day values since 01 January 1992, along with dX, dY, using the IAU2000A Nutation/Precession Theory (including 1 year of predictions).
  • gpsrapid.out: All EOP values since 01 May 1992, along with with dψ, dε, using IAU1980 Nutation/Precession Theory (including 15 days of predictions).

  • finals.daily (IAU1980): Polar motion, UT1-UTC, and length of day values for last 90 days, along with dψ, dε, using IAU1980 Nutation/Precession Theory (including 90 days of predictions).
  • finals.daily (IAU2000): Polar motion, UT1-UTC, and length of day values for last 90 days, along with dX, dY, using IAU2000A Nutation/Precession Theory (including 90 days of predictions).
  • gpsrapid.daily: Polar motion, UT1-UTC, and length of day values for last 90 days, along with dψ, dε, using the IAU1980 Nutation/Precession Theory (including 15 days of predictions).
