Unexpected IT infrastructure outage resolved - IERS services fully restored

Following our previously announced maintenance work, an unexpected failure of the air conditioning system at the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG), where the IERS Central Bureau is hosted, resulted in a major disruption of the local IT infrastructure.
As a consequence, all IERS services, including the iers.org servers and the IERS email system, became unavailable. Since the email infrastructure was affected by the outage as well, we regret that we were unable to provide our users with timely status updates during this incident.
The repair of the air conditioning system and the subsequent restoration of the IT infrastructure was completed yesterday.
We are pleased to inform you that all IERS services have now been fully restored. All operational services are available again, and all IERS products and data have been updated to the current status.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this unforeseen incident and thank you for your patience and understanding.
